Xpelair XSCA is a high performance range of twenty three compact and efficient industrial axial cased fans featuring external rotor motors and high pressure axial blade impellers.
Available from 315 to 1000mm in single and three phase versions.
Suitable for medium pressure, low noise ducted applications in commercial, agricultural and high performance industrial installations including kitchens, factories, garages and warehouses.
At the heart of the XSCA range is a proven capacitor start and run Class F external rotor motor and axial blade impeller assembly designed for high output performance with low noise. All the impellers are die cast aerofoil section. Form B running.
The casing is manufactured in galvanised steel with a corrosion resistant powder coated finish and the terminal box IP54 making it suitable for external applications.
The units are fully speed controllable and can be wired for reverse operation.

Manufactured in galvanised sheet metal incorporating flanges at each end drilled for connection to ductwork. The casing is further protected by a corrosion resistant two coat paint process.
MotorsDesigned to form a compact aerodynamically efficient unit. The die cast aluminium alloy drive motor is a 100% variable-speed controllable external rotor motor which simultaneously constitutes the fan's hub ensuring the motor is effectively cooled by the passing airflow. Motors are class F with protection to IP54. The motors feature maintenance free deep-groove ball bearings with high temperature grease for temperatures from -40ºC to +60ºC or +70ºC dependant on model. Impellers are profiled die cast aluminium consisting of seven aerofoil blades. The motor / impellers are balanced in two planes to DIN ISO 1940 part1: 1986 grade G 6.3. TK thermal protection is provided. Electrical supply 220-240V single phase 50Hz or 400- 415V three phase 50Hz.
Terminal Box and controlTerminal box is to IP54. A range of 5 step transformer speed controllers are available A starter with overload protection may also be used.
