The range
The Xpelair roof mounted mixed flow vertical discharge roof XMV range is an ideal solution for the ventilation of high temperature applications up to 100°C, such as kitchens, in-store bakeries, school kiln rooms and a wide range of industrial processes.Designed for horizontal installation on roofs, the XMV range features a unique high performance aluminium-polyamide mixed flow impeller and twin-wall casing design.
This construction and a motor located out of the air-stream means it can be used with air-duct temperatures of up to 100°C.
The XMV range is available in six diameters from 225mm to 500mm all with IP55 Class F motors, safety thermal overload protection and an integral service isolator.
The tough mouldings are manufactured in HDPE which is UV stabilised, resistant to all weather conditions down to -30°C and, to meet regulatory requirements, is 100% recyclable.
By including a high velocity vertical discharge pattern in the design of the XMV range, Xpelair has minimised the risk of extracted air re-entering the building.

The motor shall be located out of the airstream and be suitable for external ambient temperatures from -30ºC to +40ºC
The motor shall be speed controllable using a five step transformer
The models shall be available for single or three phase operation and in 4 and 6 pole
A service isolator shall be provided on the unit
The impeller shall be of aluminium construction with polyamide blades
A discharge birdguard shall be provided
