The range
Kitchen ventilation has never looked so good. Since its launch, Premier has taken the ventilation market by storm. DX400 extract and CF40 condensation control fans are no exception. These pressure developing centrifugal fans are sleekly styled and are ideally suited for use in kitchens, utility rooms and larger bathrooms and toilets and individual offices.They can be surface or flush mounted in walls and ceilings using the universal mounting accessories provided, and include a back draught shutter and outlet grille. Both models have their inlet discreetly concealed behind a stylish white front cover. This cover is held in position by clips for easy removal for cleaning.
Control options include integral pullcord and timer. Models with an integral humidistat offer automatic control. CF40TD features a delay start ‘quick visit’ facility preventing the fan from coming on should the light be switched on and then off within 2 minutes.
All models are IPX5 rated and BEAB approved. They are all suitable for 220-240V 50Hz mains operation and feature external rotor motors with integral balanced impellers, sealed for life maintenance free bearings and safety thermal cut out protection.

- The unit shall be designed for flush or surface mounting in walls and ceilings using the fixing clamps provided
- An external grille shall be supplied with the fan
- DX400 fans shall have a two speed running facility and CF40 fans a room size selector in the control system to provide three preset speed settings for optimum room performance
- A further option of trickle ventilation shall be provided by way of a preset switch on the unit (not DX400)
- CF versions shall be manually adjustable between 50 and 90% RH with fan running status indicated by lights
- The unit shall be BEAB approved and rated IPX5. in addition the fan shall conform to Building Regulations for use in kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms
- The fan housing shall be moulded in high gloss white ABS and be of modern design with the air inlet discreetly concealed behind a stylish baffle fixed to the front cover
- The front cover assembly shall be held in position by clips to facilitate ease of removal for fan adjustment
- The motor shall be of external rotor construction, IP44 rated with sealed maintenance free bearings and include inbuilt safety thermal overload protection
- A balanced impeller shall be integral with the motor assembly
- PC models shall be pullcord operated
- T models shall include integral timer function adjustable between 30s-20mins
